After the opening day of the Rally Shanghai, the first Round of the Chinese Rally Championship, Dean Herridge sits comfortably in fifth.

A testing day saw Herridge adapt quickly to his brand new specification Subaru Impreza WRX, negotiating the tight tarmac stages without major issue.

“Our times have been improving with every stage, a very encouraging start,” said Dean. “We’ve still got a long way to go with the car but everything is looking very, very positive.”
