Rally China Preview

This weekend Dean and Chris once again take on their APRC rivals, but they won’t be running in a Cusco car. Rally China, based near the city of Longyou, is both the Chinese leg of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship and the fourth round of the Chinese Rally Championship.

With the MRF Lancers having completed their 6 of 7 rounds of the APRC, Brian Green will be the only APRC regular flying the Mitsubishi flag. So there’s plenty of interest to see if Deans’ brand-new 2008 Subaru Rally Team China GBR Impreza can match (or beat) the well-sorted 2007 models driven by Cody Crocker and Hiroshi Yanagisawa.

In this interview, we catch up with Dean to find out how he sees his chances in Longyou, and why a couple of weeks ago he was flying around in helicopters at Rally Malaysia. To hear the full interview, just click the ‘Play’ button.
